The problem of complex pharmacotherapy of psychoemotional disorders in the practice of a family doctor

Psycho-emotional disorders and, in particular, depression are one of the most common pathological syndromes (up to 50-60%) in the context of psychosomatic pathology (ischemic heart disease, arterial hypertension, gastric and duodenal ulcer, irritable bowel syndrome, bronchial asthma). ) and especially with vegetative-vascular dystonia, i.e. in diseases that are the basis of the daily practice of a family doctor [11]. Depression significantly reduces the quality of life of patients, the effectiveness of pharmacotherapy, and worsens the prognosis of the disease.
